We are the second owners of this former dairy farm, which was built in the 1940’s and 50’s from timber cut and milled from this plot of land.
Our goal in starting ForageScape farm in 2016 was to provide meats that resonate our philosophy of feeling good about what you eat. Meat should taste good and it should taste like the land itself. It should come from animals that were raised in a respectful fashion. And it should be done in a way that attempts to steward the land as much as is possible. Every bite should offer a reflection of these values and make the eating experience an enjoyable one for not only your taste buds but for your mind.
We are a family farm run by a husband and wife, with lots of help from family, friends and neighbors and of course the livestock that works with us in our common goal. Along with our two children, we raise all of the animals on our farm which in the spring of 2020 has had all of its pastures Certified Organic.
We offer 100% grass-fed beef and lamb, pasture-raised pork, pasture-raised chicken and foraging turkeys.
All of the meat we offer comes from the same herds, flocks and gardens that provide our personal food- so our products reflect our high standards.
