About Us

Our 120-acre farm is located off Hwy 169 just south of Mille Lacs Lake, in Onamia, MN.

We are the second owners of this former dairy farm, which was built in the 1940’s and 50’s from timber cut and milled from this plot of land.

Our goal in starting ForageScape farm in 2016 was to provide meats that resonate our philosophy of feeling good about what you eat. Meat should taste good and it should taste like the land itself. It should come from animals that were raised in a respectful fashion. And it should be done in a way that attempts to steward the land as much as is possible. We raise all of our animals outdoors (with the exception of our laying hens, which we move inside a high tunnel greenhouse in winter) and we manage our pastures by moving our animals frequently so that they build soil, rather than deplete it.

In the spring of 2020 all of our pastures were Certified Organic by MOSA. We are also a Minnesota Water Quality Certified farm with additional endorsements in Soil Health and Wildlife-Friendly Farming.

We are a family farm run entirely by a husband and wife, along with our two young children. Every animals is raised by us, and we’re the faces you will see when we deliver our product to your door.
Prior to launching our farming adventure, Andre managed a marine diesel engine repair shop and Morgan worked as a therapist.

We offer 100% grass-fed beef and lamb, pasture-raised pork, pasture-raised chicken and foraging turkeys.

We look forward to being your farmer!
